जब तक परमात्मा ने ही तुम्हें खोजना शुरू न
कर दिया हो, तुम्हारे
मन में उसे खोजने की बात न उठेगी। यह बात
बड़ी विरोधाभासी लगेगी, लेकिन
बड़ा गहन सत्य है।
परमात्मा को केवल वे ही लोग खोजने
निकलते हैं
जिनको परमात्मा ने खोजना शुरू कर
दिया। जो उसके द्वारा चुन
ही लिये गये हैं, वे ही केवल उसे चुनते हैं।
जो किसी भांति उनके हृदय में
आ ही गया है, वे ही उसकी प्रार्थना में तत्पर
होते हैं।
तुम्हारे भीतर से वही उसको खोजता है।
सारा खेल उसका है। तुम
जहां भी इस खेल में कर्ता बन जाते हो,
वहीं बाधा खड़ी हो जाती है, वहीं दरवाजे
बंद हो जाते हैं।
तुम खाली रहो, उसे खोजने दो तुम्हारे भीतर
से, तो तत्क्षण इस
क्षण भी उस महाक्रांति का आविर्भाव
हो सकता है।
भक्ति को समझने में, इस बात
को जितना गहराई से समझ लो;
उतना उपयोगी होगाः भक्ति परमात्मा की खोज
नहीं हैः भक्ति परमात्मा के द्वारा मनुष्य
की खोज है।
