क्या है कृष्ण की रासलीला का सच ?
कुछ लोग अपने आपको कृष्ण भक्त या कृष्ण के अनुयाई बताकर चेहरे पर बड़े गर्व के भाव व्यक्त करते हुए घूमते हैं। यदि उनसे पूछा जाए कि क्या है कृष्ण का मतलब? क्या था कृष्ण का व्यक्तित्व, और क्या क हते हैं कृष्ण अपनी गीता में? क्या रसिया कृष्ण की गीता में रासलीला का बड़ा ही सुन्दर वर्णन आया है?इतना पूछने पर, अपने आप को कृष्ण का अनुयाई कहने वाले ये तथाकथित कृष्ण भक्त खिसियाकर बगलें झांकने लगते हैं।
वास्तविकता यह है कि रास शब्द 'रसÓ से ही बना है। जबकि रस शब्द का अर्थ है आनंद। आगे चलकर हम देखते हैं कि संगीत के साथ किये जाने वाले नृत्य को ही काव्य अथवा साहित्य में 'रासÓ संज्ञा से सूचित किया जाने लगा। पता नहीं रासलीला को लेकर समाज में यह गलत मान्यता कैसे प्रचलित हो गई। संस्कृत कवि जयदेव ने अपने काव्य में कृष्ण को नायक बनाकर कई श्रृंगारिक गीतों की रचना की जो कि पूरी तरह काल्पनिक एवं मनगढ़ंत हैं। जयदेव की परंपरा को ही बाद में विद्यापति....से लेकर सूरदास ने आगे बढ़ाया।
नौ वर्ष के कृष्ण- एक अति महत्वपूर्ण बात और भी है जिससे बहुत कम ही लोग परिचित हैं। वह यह है कि जब कृष्ण ने हमेशा-हमेशा के लिये गोकुल-वृंदावन छोड़ा तब उनकी उम्र मात्र नौ वर्ष की थी। इससे यह तो स्पष्ट ही है कि कृष्ण जब गोप-गोपिकाओं के साथ गौकुल-वृंदावन में थे तब नौ वर्ष से भी छोटे रहे होगें। अति मनोहर रूप, बांसुरी बजाने में अत्यंत निपुण,अवतारी आत्मा होने के कारण जन्मजात प्रतिभाशाली आदि तमाम बातों के कारण वे आसपास के पूरे क्षेत्र में अत्यंत् लोकप्रिय थे। नौ वर्ष के बालक का गोपियों के साथ नृत्य करना एक विशुद्ध प्रेम और आनंद का ही विषय हो सकता है। अत: कृष्ण रास को शारीरिक धरातल पर लाकर उसमें मोजमस्ती या भोग विलास जेसा कुछ ढूंढना इंसान की स्यवं की फितरत पर निर्भर करता है। कृष्ण के प्रति कोई राय बनाने से पूर्व इंसान को गीता को समझना होगा क्योंकि उसके बिना कोई कृष्ण को वास्तविक रूप में समझ ही नहीं पाएगा।
